JobFeeder is operated by Scietas Technologies LLC (“JobFeeder”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Account. Your name and email, and either a password (stored only as a salted hash) or, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account identifier and profile photo.
• Your job-search profile. The information you provide to tune your feed: target roles, locations, compensation expectations, dealbreakers, the written positioning you enter, and any resume text you paste.
• Activity. Your swipes (interested / passed / saved) and delivery settings (cadence, send time, timezone). If you enable mobile notifications, a device push token.
• Billing. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer and subscription identifier so we can manage your plan — we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical. Error diagnostics, basic product-usage analytics, and referral metadata (such as which link brought you to the site).

How we use it

We use your profile to score newly posted jobs against your taste with AI, to deliver your feed in the app and by email, to learn from your swipes so the feed gets sharper, to run your subscription, to provide support, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

AI processing

To score roles, we send your job-search profile and the text of job postings to a third-party AI provider (currently Google’s Gemini API). This produces a fit score and a short explanation. Our AI provider processes this data only to return that result and does not use it to train its models. We may change AI providers over time and will keep this policy current.

Who we share with

We share data only with the service providers that make JobFeeder work, and only for that purpose:

• Google — AI scoring and Google sign-in
• Stripe — subscription payments
• Resend — sending your feed and account emails
• Sentry and PostHog — error monitoring and product analytics
• Our cloud hosting provider — running the service

We do not sell your data. We do not share your profile, resume, or swipes with recruiters or employers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile and settings at any time in the app. You can delete your account yourself from Settings (“Delete account”) on web or mobile, or by emailing us. Deletion permanently removes your account, profile, and swipe history, cancels any active subscription, and purges the job evaluations we generated for you. You can also email us to request a copy of your data.

Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and remove it after deletion (some records, such as payment history held by Stripe, may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons). Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access is restricted to what’s needed to operate the service. JobFeeder is hosted in the United States; by using it you consent to processing there.

Children

JobFeeder is a professional tool intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update this page and the effective date above, and notify you where required.
